digressions
ever notice that when people say, i digress, they usually mean, i digressed? (past tense.) because when they say it they're usually finished digressing and are ready to get back on track. hrm. i guess they simultaneously mean, i will stop digressing. which is long enough it's a digression all by itself. i think i'm going to start using the phrase, i un-digress. which is fun to say. and it'll be a good test to see if people are still paying attention.
