  shakedown
dear business, we have determined that a low down scumbag of a telemarketing company (us, actually!) is planning to spoof your business phone number and credentials to scam old people out of their homes and social security checks. clearly you don't want your good named dragged through the mud. fortunately, we can help. please send 2.00 bitcoins to 1LECxS2cJFEw2M4uDNBi1i5zaPvjNRnU91 to avoid this catastrophe. by end of week. yours truly, y.t. (i'm gonna be so rich!)

  common core
hate it. not because it's a stupid way to teach math. the basic idea is pretty okay. ie get kids to understand what they're doing. like subtraction is distance from point a to point b along the number line. or highway. and multiplication calculates area. the stupid part is not allowing kids to advance once they've mastered the concepts. my kid is just ahead of the common core wave. so he's learning algebra this year. however, kids one year behind him are actually three years behind. because they won't get algebra until 8th grade. unless they go to private school. which is more than a little stupid. you wonder why kids can't pay attention in class. they're bored. really fucking bored. and bored kids are disruptive. ask me how i know.

  ll game
g's little league team had an exciting game this week. we couldn't hit their ace. and they couldn't hit our ace. once he got warmed up that is. they scored two runs on a hit an error and two passed balls in the first. we got runners on base several times. but couldn't bring them home. so those were the only two runs until the 6th. our ace hit his pitch count limit with one out to go. our reliever gave up a hit before striking out the batter to retire the side. their reliever fanned our number 10 and 11 batters. yes we play continuous batting order sissy ball in this league. it's one of the many many changes the new board made this year. anywho. the lead off batter doubled. g had some difficulty adjusting to the speed of the new pitcher. or rather, the lack thereof. i've never seen a right handed batter line one at the home field dugout before. then he pegged the base coach. if it were me i'd have shifted the infield and outfield. g eventually roped a double down the left field line. scoring a run. the next ground ball went to the shortstop. he checked g at second and watched g's dance a little too long. the hurried throw put runners on first and third. clean up batter knifes a fly ball to right field. everyone's running like mad. the right fielder's running. the ball's tailing away from him. he's running. the ball's tailing. ball and glove collide. ball pops out and keeps going for a three base error. and there was much celebration by all.

  rolers
i'm developing a new theory as to the role of the wealthy elite in civilization. like most of my ideas, it's kinda half baked at the moment. unlike most of my ideas, i'm not going to ship it anyway. this'll give you and me some more time to ponder what exactly it is i want to say. and how.
