ll game g's little league team had an exciting game this week. we couldn't hit their ace. and they couldn't hit our ace. once he got warmed up that is. they scored two runs on a hit an error and two passed balls in the first. we got runners on base several times. but couldn't bring them home. so those were the only two runs until the 6th. our ace hit his pitch count limit with one out to go. our reliever gave up a hit before striking out the batter to retire the side. their reliever fanned our number 10 and 11 batters. yes we play continuous batting order sissy ball in this league. it's one of the many many changes the new board made this year. anywho. the lead off batter doubled. g had some difficulty adjusting to the speed of the new pitcher. or rather, the lack thereof. i've never seen a right handed batter line one at the home field dugout before. then he pegged the base coach. if it were me i'd have shifted the infield and outfield. g eventually roped a double down the left field line. scoring a run. the next ground ball went to the shortstop. he checked g at second and watched g's dance a little too long. the hurried throw put runners on first and third. clean up batter knifes a fly ball to right field. everyone's running like mad. the right fielder's running. the ball's tailing away from him. he's running. the ball's tailing. ball and glove collide. ball pops out and keeps going for a three base error. and there was much celebration by all.  ¶ 8:00 AM
